Lines through new version

I have a Compaq Presario X1000 with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics card and a 15.4" screen.

I had no problems with version 2.0; however, with the newer version, I have flickering lines that go across the entire screen intermittenly when running either in widescreen or regular screen mode.

Do you have VSYNC turned off?

I cannot find (either in Display properties, or in the ATI Control Panel) an option to turn off VSYNC.
