How to have Aquarium as a screensaver?
I willingly paid the registration money for this superb product, its good to see developers supporting the Mac community with stable apps that show off the Mac to its best (145 fps at max settings on a dual 1GHz machine).
Now to my question, I am clueless as to the mechanics of the OS and settings, so could somebody more knowledgeable than me please walk me through how to set this as a screensaver that automatically cuts in after the specified Screen Saver delay. I tried dragging the file Marine Aquarium.saver which I found in the Marine Aquarium v1.10 folder into the System>Library>Screensaver folder but get the message "The item Marine Aquarium.saver could not be moved because "Screen Savers" cannot be modified". Fingers crossed that there is an expert out there who can help. Happy fishin' Paul in England paul_dean@blueyonder.co.uk |

Sounds like a problem wih your privileges.
No problem here on a Dual Gig with Jaguar. Try putting it in the users/library/screensaver folder Roy |

Definitely a permission problem. The Disk Utility app in Jaguar will correct goofed up permissions. If you have 10.1.x then you need to download a separate tool from the Apple site.

Thanks chaps, put it in the Users/Library/Screensavers and it works a treat.
