Is this a bug?
Using Mac OS 10.1.5 the screensaver does not start when iTunes 3 is on playing music.
My time preference for the screensaver is to launch when is idle for five minutes, it does that always, except when iTunes is playing either as front application or in the background. If I move the mousse to the corner designated to start the screensaver, it does start (with or without iTunes) - you should know this. |

This is not a bug. This is a feature of iTunes.

I do have to disagree with it, I do have more screensavers (iclunding "Flurry") and they launch at the set times when iTunes is playing as front application or as backgound. Don't blame iTunes.

The OS is in complete control of when the screen saver framework on OS X is called. We don't control time or hot corner activation.
