MA2 crashing after securiy update.

I downloaded the latest security updates from Microsoft and now MA2 crashes my system everytime it launches. Message that there is a problem with vidprt.sys. Please help!

Can you tell us what version of Windows you have, what video card, you have, etc.?

Works fine on mine: ATI Radeon 9700, Windows XP Pro, all updates except "vulnerable if your computer is a web server."

XP Pro, GForce2 Ultra. Everything else on my system is working fine.

Working fine here with all windows critical updates.
XP home, Geforce MX4.

I got things working again. I downloaded an update for Direct X and all is back to normal. Thanks.

Ah, another problem fixed in the Grand Style of never knowing what the heck the trouble was.
