Would you expect this on the 16MB card ?
As I said earlier if I run in windowed mode and stretch it to full screen, the problem does not occur. Are there any other diagnostics that you require me to run ? Steve :-) |

No, I wouldn't expect it on a 16 meg card at normal resolutions. Do all other Direct3D applications run normally?

Unfortunately I don't have a great deal of software installed on XP.
I ran the DXdiag and the DirectDraw and Direct3D tests were OK (DX7 and DX8). OpenGL works OK as I can still got murdered everytime I play Quake III ![]() Last edited by sonichouse; 03-25-2002 at 02:09 PM. |

How did this thread become a video issue and not a sound issue like my original problem? I am not complaining but I really wanted to resolve my sound problem. Best of luck to all.
