I Keep trying to make a logo but
 

Every time I Choose Canvas Size... from the Image menu and set the Width and Height of the image to 256 my logo disapears and all I see is the checker board I think I am following the instructions right and my photo shop trial is just about up any way these are the logos I am trying to make if any one can help please do thanks !

and this one too not to hard to tell where I am from feldon made me a New York Rangers one and it came out great I just can't seem to be able to make them my self I wish I could I do not mean to take up bandwidth but I just can't seem to make them

What size is your logo (check via Image > Image Size) before you enter canvas size?

Also, you haven't left the size unit in inches or something when you enter 256, making your canvas 256" wide? In that case just set the dropdown menu to "pixels" and everything should work.

You don't WANT white. You WANT the checkerboard. The checkboard means that part is transparent. A white background will be very ugly. Make sure you are in RGB Color and not Indexed Color.

Folks, PLEASE use the Logo Creation Guide. Study it. Absorb it. Live it.

I keep getting e-mails "So I see in your guide you say to create a BMP..." and I want to tear my hair out.

Um Morg, he says his "logo disappears" - not "the white stuff around the logo disappears".

Another question, where are the logo creation guide liked to from? I keep opening up the thread everytime I want to have a peek at it.

Only recently did I add a link to the Logo Creation Guide from the Fan Site.

I will have to down load photo shop and try again but I if any one wants to make the logos I uploaded I would be gratefull !

Which one? I'm not going to make 3-4 logos for every state. :)

Turtle was right I must of made the canvas size inches not pixels any way thanks to feldon's logo guide I was able to make the NY logo I will try to make the others but I'm still working on fine tuning any way thanks again guys !:TU:

Post the Yankees logos when you finish them. I'd love to use them too.

Why not? Sombody should. It would make a great project and lots of people would enjoy them. Once finished, one could start on European football teams' logos. Those would be a big hit. If I had the time I would do it myself. It sounds like fun and the pay off would be seeing how popular they would be.

Cause time is money? :) And cause with that time, I could be tending to the garden. ;) Yes, I'm getting quite domestic.

What error message do you get? You should be able to upload PNG, JPEG, etc.

I posted them already but I have not I am going to e-mail them to you so you can post them for me ok they are the yankees logos petshark wanted

Might have to rename them, like add a "1" or "2" before the .png. I got your e-mail, will post them soon.
