MA3 Key

Hi Everybody
Please be patient with me as I know nothing about computers,but I have just downloaded MA3 and its just amazing and I want to purchase the key to open up the complete package,my question is do you have to have a key for a specific download or does the purchased key open any MA3.
Sorry if the question is nobrainer.

A key code opens any copy of MA3.
