0.9.6 Available with surprise!

Before I post on Version Tracker I'd like to get your feedback on this new build.

Mac first: "Blue" pictured below.

(soon to be followed by "El Tigre" and "Magnum" -- just kidding. An inside joke for people who will admit to having seen "Zoolander".)

The photo Jim attached doesn't do the new artwork justice. The new rocks are very, very lovely.

Download Super-High Resolution Snapshot (1280x1024 lossless) *Warning: 1.7MB .PNG file.*

Download High Resolution Snapshot (1280x1024 lossy) 386kb .JPG file.

AKcrab is right. The new artwork is very sharp. The relatively low resolution image I posted doesn't show it off properly. At full screen it rocks!

Glad my joke wasn't too obscure.

However, the new tank does NOT look the same. It is like putting on the proper prescription glasses when compared to the older artwork. Eric did a really great job.

AKCrab, hope you don't mind but I juggled the numbers and came up with a JPEG that (IMO) loses very little from your fantastic PNG. I can host the PNG file too if your website starts getting too much traffic.

He edited my post and added a second link.

Thanks feldon, I'll let you know if bandwidth becomes an issue.
I just wanted to make a big, beautiful, lossless example.

Yeah, I remeber those two with an iMac. Typical Apple users I assume?

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

What about 30-inch LCDs ?

You know it's going to happen. The Apple 30-inch displays and their special graphics adapter ship in September. The sales guys at CompUSA love to show off their displays by running Marine Aquarium off a video distribution box. The Apple Store-in-a-store is probably going to show off the 30-inch displays with GA. I can only imaging how much customer drool the janitor will be cleaning of the floor each night.

Apple 30-inch display + GA = Awesomeness
Reasons people don't watch Star Trek:
60% - It’s for nerds.
39% - The show’s stupid.
01% - My parents were killed by Klingons and it's still too painful.

I just want to know why I can't have a rock like that in my goldfish tank. I am jealous.
