Anyone else notice memory loss after exiting. I had 27mb when I started Marine PPC and only 13mb after exiting. Softreset put it back to 27mb.

Working on a .NET port that will support screen rotations and different resolutions... as well as different aspect ratios (square screen etc), sounds and background scrolling. This version will support smart phone platform. The Goldfish version will use this engine as well.

I just pulled out an old iPAQ 3650 and put the SereneScreen saver on it...
Even though the number of colors in its display is less than the 3900 series and above, it does work well and looks acceptable. It appears that it should work on just about any iPAQ model from 3630 to the 5555 and the newer ones of course. Just thought you might like to know in case you have limited test machines.

Awesome. that sound great.

Two fish on the screen at one time look fantastic, both still swiming a little fast though.

Today, at the request of Encore, I agreed to add two more fish to the existing Marine Aquarium. I will create these fish by the end of the month, and turn them over to Prolific, who will add them to the interface, and release the program.

Oh joy, two more fish, and we thought we weren't getting another update until the 3D background.

Will these two be fairly easy to create?

I would guess, as Jim is still struggling with shaders, that these fish will be using the old technology - which is no longer any challenge to Jim.

They should be a sinch!

I think Will is studying shaders and then supposed to be showing Jim and others at Prolific just whats going on. As far as the new fish, if it sticks to past scenarios Jim will pick out the 2 new fish he wants to create and get that done, then pass them over to Prolific who will incorporate them into the aquarium and we will get a whole new download that includes the new fish.

Why, thank you Jim.

P.S. Is there someplace to put in an application to beta test for the MA? Or are all the positions all filled and there's no opening? Been meaning to ask.

We pretty much have all the beta testers that we need at this point, as far as I know.

There won't be much Beta testing for this version - it's just a couple of fish.

Me next, me next! What about the Bangai Cardinal? It's been on the wish list for a long time...

Edit: ...just like the Haplochromis Compressiceps which is a freshawater cichlid and should be removed from the list...

Edit 2: ...as fishcube pointed out once before nearly a year ago...
