Yep, I can tell you that for sure. I don't recall the exact IGP model, but I also could not run 2560x1080 over HDMI on Intel graphics.
I don't watch commercials.

32:9 Monitors?

Geeze, just when I'm getting up to speed on the 21:9 monitor, I just found out about Samsung's 32:9 monitor. Where will it end? I definitely want one if I can display Marine Aquarium 3 on it! Jim?

With support from your video card for that resolution, it should display the aquarium from end to end with no scrolling, since the background was built for dual 1920x1080 screens, and that's essentially what that is, just in one monitor.

I hope so, Doc, but looking at this image https://www.serenescreen.com/product/maquarium3/ It looks like 32:9 at least when I measured the image. Hmmmm.. It would sure make my day. I emailed Samsung and asked them to download the trial version of MA3 and to please let me know how it fit.

Here's a screenshot of the entire tank, if you want to measure aspect ratios.

Thanks, Jim. Yup that looks like 32:9 alright. That's a great bonus for ROKU subscribers. The Samsung ultra wide 32:9 available now is the curved screen. I'm not sure how that would look in my living room. Today I worked on getting my 21:9 super wide LG monitor going 24/7. It looks great on my media wall. To power it, I used a mini PC I bought on Amazon.com.
They tell me it will run the 32:9 resolution as well (Max: 4096 X 2160). Thank you, Jim and Doc and all the others that offered input on helping me get this up and running.
