not sure how this will be managed in the future but the screensaver doesn't keep the sleep setting (this was in B4 and in B5).

On two single monitor laptops i haven't noticed any problems and just copying over the scr file almost worked (only had to reset the fish counts).

At the present time, in these current beta stages the Sleep() setting is not remembered. - Jim said some time ago, (when asked if we could chose our own setting, and have it saved), that....
Cliff - The Sleep() will probably be used the same way as in the old program, to set a rough max framerate, which is saved.

I had multi monitor about 6 years ago, thought it was a waste of space and time so went back to one. A short while later I got rid of my PC and bought a Notebook.

I used to play Doom on 3 networked monitors in the mid 1990's

MM is not for everyone and is a definite small minority. I have been straining my brain and for the life of me cant think of a single person I know with more than 1.

You claimed to know that you lived just down the road from me, - and I have two! ...

Running WPanorama on two screens is a must!
Running Dream Aquarium on two screens is a must!
Running MA3 on two screens is a must, (... or it will be! ).
Having one screen for a text-editor/word-document, whilst the forum etc. is on the other, - is a must!
Having two screen whilst photo editing etc, is a must!
etc. etc. etc.

..... I could go on and on!

(Be afraid, be very afraid!) ...

OK, I've removed all the bezel gap code, just leaving the Fishpicker bug fixes. Everybody re-download: http://www.fish-byte.com/MA3Beta.zip

If I don't care about the bezel gap, should I re-download?

And did the "official" download announced (MadBeta5.zip on the regular site) get updated, so that I can just download from there if I need to?

That is, from https://www.feldoncentral.com/%7Ejav...a/MA3Beta5.zip as originally announced?

I can change that right now. Currently it is still the one with the bezel gap code included. But if you aren't using multi-monitor and it works fine for you on your single monitor, then it's your choice.

Question

With the bezel gap adjuster, isn't it just a case of scrolling one screen left or right using the (1+Left - example) buttons and as the screen moves left or right then zoom the aquarium like what happens sometimes when the user resizes the windowed mode tank? and then limiting the side to side scrolling effect to compensate?

He he, how long did it take you to search that old thread out! (I live 3 miles from uppermill) and I still don't know anyone with 2 monitors unless you're inviting me round for tea and biccy's

@ Jim

Why is beta-5a over 1MB bigger than 5 when you took something out?

its actually .45MB larger for the zip file; and I was just wondering the same thing myself

I was guessing some setting must have changed in the compression.

I guess I compiled the debug version instead of the release version. I just replaced it. There's no difference except the filesize.

These versions come off of our server here and Morgan and I have tons of BW so its no real problem either way.

If there isn't any difference then I'll just leave the larger version for now since there should be a new one before too long anyhow.
