Don't Look At This

Apologies in advance to Jim...

Very funny indeed, morgan I hope Jim won't consider that as graffitti LOL

I think those mockups are funny and I would like everybody with a nice idea to create one and post it here. What about a mockup thread? We had the pet's pictures thread, and this one would be funny too.

Mockups adding background or funny things would be a nice idea, and IMHO an interesting thread to look at.

BTW, in Spain it's "Where's Wally" and not Waldo :?

Just a suggestion: you should choose a Waldo wearing hmmm....stupid english and those words... well, a snorkel and those glasses to use underwater.... darn, where's my dictionary? spanish is sooo easy...

Cool!
I will try to make something else as soon as I have an idea for a mockup
First image of the lionfish that you post! It looks awsome!!!

Jim probably turned red when he saw that

BTW, in Israel "Where's Waldo" is "Eifo Efi" hehe

I really don't want to be around when Jim sees this

Thanks for the preview of the Lionfish though Morgan - since it's now Wednesday morning in England it should keep me going until the US catch up and I can download the real thing.

Can the new version really handle 21 fish or did you do that all in photo-shop?

Jim will definately consider it grafitti. This picture will only be up til 1.1 is released. And Jim will probably never forgive me...

That's entirely a Photoshop job, in reality you can only do 7 fish at a time. After seeing that, why would you want more than 10 or so? Eck. It looks maddening.

By the way, there is one other unique thing in that picture besides the Lionfish, Waldo, and the fact that there are more than 7 fish viewable. And no, FB and Michael, you can't answer this one cause you already know.

I believe you are not reffering to the text message "Where's Waldo?"
There are two Golden Butterflyfish and 22 fish (I hope that's what you mean)...

Oops. The 2 golden butterflyfish are accidental. That's not it. Sea anemones aren't it. It's a very subtle difference.

Ok, let's make Jim kill us all

Anyway, I still hope he'll consider this a fun thread and won't ask feldon to close it. It's just a way to have fun with photoshop

EDITED: maybe the difference on feldon's pic is that there're no refraction (or whatever it's called) of the light on the rocks and coral? (I mean those subtle moving shadows) or maybe the three little bubbles near waldo?

This was Morgan's way of sneaking in a early preview of the Lionfish, hoping it would be lost in the crowd

new object for 1.1 :)

I kept pondering over the one item that needs to be in that beautiful tank and it came to me like a vision:

Seriously, I've reviewed the Rembrandt and VanGough comments and am glad that you're not allowing "changing skins" and user changes that would make the appearance cheap (although a dive helmet certainly does have a lot of class..even if it is "low class")

By the way, how did the site go from fish talk to Nascar and Ice Skating chat? Is there a clown fish that was robbed of the gold medal or did one of the triggers have a horrible crash?

I'm anxiously awaiting 11:59:59 standard eskimo time.

NASCAR and Ice Skating go under the Coffee House, topics unrelated to the Aquarium.

You should see just how off-topic people go on the TiVo forum in the Coffee House there. It's like a relationships/dating hotline.

Morgan:
The Addis Butterflyfish seems to be brighter now in your picture.
Is this the 'other unique thing'?

Bing Bing Bing!

Yellow Tang got it!

Yes. Jim has said repeatedly in the past that he thinks the coloring of the Addis is horrid. So I took a shot at it, using a dozen photos of them from various sources as reference.
