It is finally available for download at the Microsoft site today. I guess they waited until the localized versions were ready.

What did they change?

With the previous release I wasn't able to run the SSA with Anti-Aliasing on. It would cut the fps deeply and cause some preformance problems with sudden slow downs, etc.

Now I can run the SSA with 2x anti-aliasing and I'm getting a nice even 41 fps. (I normally get around 105-111 on my Geforce2 MX/Athlon 1.1 with the monitor at 100 refresh).

It has never looked better!

Scratch that.

I just tested 4x AA, and it's smooth as butter at an even 41 fps too.

I am very happy.
