FPS

I couldn't find a thread dealing exclusively with this subject, so I though I'd start one. What is everyone's fps? A lot of times its useful to see what other people's performance is. Please include the resolution you run it at also.

1280x1024
75fps

I also had a question, does anyone know why my fps actually goes UP when i switch to 1600x1200? It goes up to 85fps

I'm guessing that your FPS is limited by your refresh rate. Try running the aquarium in windowed mode (where the FPS is not limited by the refresh rate) and see if your FPS jumps VERY high.

BTW - I'm getting 180 FPS @ 1024x768.

(AMD 1800+, GeForce3, 512Mb RAM, WinXP)

The reason why you get 'only' 75 fps is obvious, I think: turn v-sync off. And you should try to raise your refresh rate at the 1280x1024 resolution, at least 85 Hz should be possible.

140ish @ 1600x1200

That's with a Athlon 800, Radeon 8500 64meg, 512 RAM, Win XP, and Lionfish.

Refresh rate is 85Hz and v-sync is obviously off.
