Cool 10.2 Compatible?

I'm a registered user, and have pre-ordered Jaguar (10.2) from Amazon. I'm just curious whether MacAquarium will work fine under 10.2. Thanks, keep up the good work!

<cross>I think it was tested on 10.2 before 10.2 was even available to the public.

It's most certainly compatible with 10.2.</cross>

I must apologize for my comments. I have now heard that the Aquarium has had some testing on 10.2, but since 10.2 is not a final product, Apple may still make some changes that must be worked-around.

Please remember: Confirmed, official news is always posted at SereneScreen.com and on the front page of my website.

How much? What did you get before in the app and screen saver? What do you get now? Did you check to see that the OS upgrade didn't change your monitor depth? Please e-mail to feedback@orderndev.com. Thanks.

I'm not having any trouble with SereneScreen and Mac OS 10.2. I've noticed no difference with the program's operation at all.

I get some Phase errors, and some moon errors. whatever that means.

just every now and then.

oh.. and just sometimes, when I have a scond monitor plugged in, it slows down to a crawl.

but 90% of the time it rocks. =)

A Pismo doesn't have enough VRAM to drive two monitors with hardware accelerated OpenGL, so then you get the software renderer which is VERY SLOW.

As to the phase of moon errors, you should probably reinstall the screen saver from a fresh download.

Thanks for the feedback.

Is "phase of moon" a checksum on the Aquarium data file?

it's a 450 mhz DV+ system. plenty of ram. OS 10.2 Jaguar. I double clik on the program and it won't even open.

There is a permission problem - users have had success running it as a different user. However, v1.1.3 seems to fix it. Would be interested in your feedback. Leave feedback at http://www.orderndev.com and I'll get you directions to v1.1.3.
