If there are objections, {someone will} remove the "hack".
That someone will not be you. You simply removed the URL. The "hack" remains.

Not on this forum, sorry.
Not a problem. I would have removed it on polite request.

/me dusts off DX SDK. How does SachsHacks.com sound?

Toodles.

If you create something that is artistically interesting, you'll be the first one so far.

Is that a challenge? Maybe...

Your stance is intriguing Feldon. Seemingly you desire modifications, but do not (cannot?) condone (and indeed moderate) them.

BTB, may I please add Pseudocheilinus hexataenia (six-line or pyjama wrasse) to the wish list? Thank you.

Great looking fish. Do you know how big they are? The only thing I'm concerned about is the striping. If the stripes are too close together, it will create "buzzing" on the screen. This has been a major factor in choosing the fish I can do.

Mr. Sachs; Great indeed. 3 inches/75mm is not uncommon in the aquarium (2 inches in the wild.) I have kept the fish on 2 occasions, both an absolute delight. IMO they can grow a little larger (fatter) especially where there is copious live food. Perhaps even 3 1/2 inches (the last jammy I owned would regularly hold his own (and was very similar in size) to an adult (4 inch) Premnas biaculeatus (maroon clown).

Nick Dakin's "Book Of The Marine Aquarium" (ISBN 0 86101 640 8) fine description;

"P. hexataenia has many of the attributes of an ideal aquarium fish: it rarely bothers invertebrates or other fish (as long as they are not of its own kind, or similar), it is colourful, easily fed, interesting in its activities and generally very inexpensive. This disease resistant fish can be heartily recommended to any newcomer to the hobby."

The only thing I'm concerned about is the striping. If the stripes are too close together, it will create "buzzing" on the screen. This has been a major factor in choosing the fish I can do.
Oh for sure. It would be a real shame, such a colourful active (never still) fish, too.

I'm surprised you like that one, given the vibrant, almost surreal colors. Tres cool.

Big Grin Moving background

I'm still waiting for the moving background, and individual fish behavior. I just got back from snorkeling in the Cozumel, Mexico area - there's nothing like seeing the interaction between fish and the motions of the corals!
