You just press the [ and ] keys to add or remove plants.

If that isn't working, something is wrong.

Steven, you have to disable "exit on mousemove". Or if you don't want to do that you can use my Plant Picker.
At almost 25 m long Liopleurodon was the biggest carnivore that ever existed. It had an enormous 3 metre long mouth which contained teeth twice as long as those of Tyrannosaurus.

Yes, the

[X] Exit on Mouse Move

nonintuitively kicks out when pressing many keys including Ctrl and Alt. I'd imagine this is a Windows fault.

I don't think that it is a Windows fault, but rather an appreciation error on the part of the programmer (basically "key filtering").

BTW, that plant feature still doesn't work for me, even by unchecking the "Exit on mouse move" option. Maybe a keyboard layout incompatibility?.
Sincerely,
Sergio.

I'm trying to see how that could possibly happen?

Why would Prolific add [, ], Ctrl, Alt, Tab, Backspace, etc. as keys that exit the Aquarium in this mode?

I'm thinking Windows has a "kickout" function for screen savers and they have to manually add keys to NOT be detected.

That's pretty much right. You have to trap the event, see if it's one of the keys you want to filter out, then redirect the program thread before it has a chance to cause an exit.

Then we are talking about key filtering, right?.
I am wondering if Reichart could tell us what keycode/keyascii is GA expecting for the plant feature to work properly. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Sergio.

We have fixed the "[" "]" kicking out. One would think this was easy, but this is a screensaver, and things work somewhat backwards.

Also, we added the [P] key for our French friends, any anyone with other differnt Keyboards.
