new background for TFT monitors?

Jim , im a supporter of the screensaver a long time , now i bought me a 17" TFT monitor but the background is bad.

Is it possible to design a new background for TFT monitors ?

Thanks

Hi.

I also have a 17" TFT monitor and yes, the background looks ugly setting high resolutions (above 1024x768).

We all hope that with the new 3D background this is solved.
Sincerely,
Sergio.

I saw the MA2 on a Toshiba notebook 15" with 1280X1024 but see no difference to a normal CRT.

It is obvious that CRT technology is different from TFT.

I recently upgraded my PC. I wanted to buy a 19" CRT monitor (a LG Flatron), but finally, due to other reasons, I bought a 17" TFT (Benq). I notice many differences seeing photos (more sharpened). TFT monitors (not LCD) also tend to smooth fonts if you don't set it to its native resolution (mine is 1280x1024).

Believe me, there are differences...
Sincerely,
Sergio.
