I would be interested to know the approximate schedule of beta and release (not for the dates, don't worry, juste the sequences and the corresponding developments)...
If we suppose that the screensaver will follow this scheme:
- beta 1, 2, 3, 4, n
- final release
- extension pack 1
- extension pack 2
- etc.

- I suppose that the ironing of the 3D background will be finished during the beta.
- When will the fish texture change ? In a future beta ? In the final release ?
- Will the corals be animated in the final release or in the extension packs ?
- Do you confirm that the invertabrae will only be added in extensions packs ?

Thanks !

Well, it's more like:

Beta 1,2,3,4,5,...
Final Release 1,2,3,4,5...
Creature Pack 1
More Final Releases
Creature Pack 2
More Final Releases

Like Disneyland, it will never be finished. There will always be room for enhancements and new features.

I do not know how you keep your sense of humour, Jim. What with all the beta testing, and trying to put out a new piece of software....

BTW, I am enjoying every minute, no problems yet, unlike some graphics software, that I am using, that always seem to be in beta

Thanks, Chippy. Not much left of my sense of humor after driving around Boston all day trying to find my hotel. How do these people live like this?

Prices for gps units have come way down if you want to get one now - not built into a car.

Yeah, if sales ever start up again, I'll pick one up. Right now, we're down to peanut butter (saving up for jelly)

Hey, tomorrow's halloween, don't forget to go trick or treating, never tell what kind of free goodies you get in your bag.

Easy, once they're home... they turn on SereneScreen!!!

BTW.... I just purchased 2.6 Very nice! I use the Beta though with the 2.6 code because the corals are SO much prettier (said in a manely way).

LOL Dale.
Jim, enjoy your stay. As the Canadian $ has slipped, you will be richer in Canada.

Jim: Heck, if I'd known you were coming to Boston I would have offered you a bed in our house (big 100-year-old Victorian in Nahant, a peninsula surrounded by ocean 30 minutes NE of Boston). WAY cheaper than a hotel!

And most of us who live here seldom venture into downtown Boston by car -- that's what the T is for.

We got our hotel through Hotwire, so it was amazingly cheap. It was the Doubletree Resort, and was extremely nice, but also extremely hard to get to. You could see it from the freeway, but by then it was too late to exit. I think that if you miss your exit in Boston, you can be declared legally dead.
