** COMPUSA!!! **
For many, SereneScreen Aquarium was first seen by the public at CompUSA stores not for sale, but as part of the ill-fated Microsoft XP Plus pack.
But now, Prolific Publishing has struck a distribution agreement with CompUSA, making it the second major retailer to carry the Aquarium!! I haven't been to CompUSA to see if copies are out there yet as I just got the news 10 minutes ago.

Well it's about time. Hopefully I'll have some time in the next few days and I will go to the local branch and see if their are any there yet.

COMPUSA
I'm the lead salesman at a CompUSA in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
We got AQUARIUM about two weeks ago and QUICKLY sold out. A new shipment came in, and it's about gone! It is EASILY the best and simplist "ADD-ON SALE" I can make. Rampager83 |

That's great news, Rampager83. CompUSA kindly allowed us in despite the fact that we don't have a second product, but we were on a probationary status. A certain number of units had to be sold in the first month or the deal was off. Looks like the quota won't be a problem.

CompUSA
Jim,
I don't know what the quota is, but we've already asked the "higher ups" to ship us MORE!!!! Lots of folks like not having to have XP, and having more fish. One question: Is the starfish limited to the left side of the screen? A customer asked me that, today. I also loaded the OS X demo on one of the POWERMACs. On the 22" screen, it is positively GEORGEOUS!!! Buddy |

The quota was less than 1 copy per store for the whole month, so we were never really that worried.
The starfish starts out on the left side, but can move freely about the tank, including sticking to the glass if that option in chosen. My local CompUSA also has the Mac version on the 22" screen, and it does look great. Sells some PowerMacs, too.

That's good news Jim - glad to see you're getting some much needed retail shelf space.

CompUSA
As of today, we had ONE REMAINING copy.
Considering how slow business is (this is a slow period, before we ramp up for the holidays), that is FANTASTIC. Ramp. |

Cool! This is great news! Maybe it'll help Jim snap out of his writers block and get back to work!
