A plan is a plan is a plan...
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

Now I've got to put together a MAT2 page for the fan site.

Fortunately "Now" is a relative measure

SereneScreen Marine Aquarium Time 2 has been released!!

http://www.serenescreen.com/product/time.php

And you can get the first of my logo packs for it from:
https://www.feldoncentral.com/Sachs/malogo/

As more logos become available from me and other artists, I will release a logo loader I've written in VB.

If you don't want the logos to cycle, put only one logo in the folder.
and once installed where are they?
c:\program files\serenescreen\marine aquarium time\

the help file says you can hold control and use arrow keys to move the logos and the pg up and down to resize the logos
That only works for logos you create as BMP files and import into the Aquarium using the "Import Logo" button. You will probably also want to remove all other logos from the Installation folder.

You cannot specify which of the 4 items you want to display -- Date, Calendar, Clock, Logo.

I did ask for this feature, but I think they were trying to keep from getting too complex.

Wish List

I will add my request for a 'selectable' setting so you can decide what to cycle through on MAT V2.0

Maybe you could limit the selection to minimum of 2 items that way if the user wanted say 1. calender & 2. logo it could be a check box.

Max 4 items (all logos would cycle if "logo" is checked)

Just my $0.02 worth...

Brian Hurd

I agree. I think the control panel right now is a bit confusing. But when I started talking about changing it, I heard screams.

Is "mat 2" a free upgrade to owners of the original mat?

Maybe someone will, once the suggestion to add sound to the aquarium is made so that you'd hear something in sync with the custom images for the etched crystal. The serenity of this beautiful screen saver is already in jeopardy. Ha ha ha!

Note: I didn't actually suggest anything.

Calendar Anomaly

I just installed MAT2 and see a problem I can't fix.

When the Time displays sequence through in the crystal, the calendar only displays month and time. No calendar.

There's no adjustment for this in the settings, so has anyone else seen this?

Strange. Not that I'd know what's wrong or how to fix that but have you tried changing the start of the day of week yet?

I sure wouldn't expect the calendar (below month and time) to be gone without there being some serious error but like I say I don't know how the program actually works in that regard (bitmapped or textually).

Having seen that the calendar works in different languages that might be a clue that it functions in the textual sense and could be a sign of a problem with a data field layout (as opposed to bitmaps).

I'll let the true programmers have a say on this. Still, you might want to try changing start of week and see if it helps (changing back again afterward?).
