The fan movement is still in front of the coral just for a moment at the extreme edge of travel with 2 monitors
I get this on a single monitor setup.

So far, I've not been able to reproduce this effect on my dual screen setup, or with a single screen.

It seems to depend on where I have my second screen positioned. With my ATI catalyst Control Center I can position my second screen in a number of positions, any position other than straight across.. magnifies the display on both screens. But... there is also considerable difference in how far one can scroll left or right as the second monitors position changes..
With my second monitor top right I get to see the entire abalone shell and a good section between it and the coral to the right of it.. Under these conditions I see the fan covering the coral... BUT.. I don't think that this needs to be repaired as it is my "goofy" setup.. something that Jim can not program around

My error... that is NOT an abalone shell

After several betas now, the two identical textures is really a distraction once you notice it.
Bat rays? We don't need no stinking bat rays!

Yes, it looks like the one part of the Fan Coral is a clone of the other part.
Doesn't look natural to me.

If I have extra texture space left over, I'll think about giving each its own texture.

Seriously?? The fan looks just fine! Many things in nature look "the same". All fish of the same species in the aquarium are "clones"! Once the rest of the aquarium is animated, I doubt this would even be noticeable unless you stare at it. Work on the more important stuff Jim!
All betas so far have run well (small bugs, which have been fixed) on my system. Just tell me when to send cash for that Peanut Butter jar!

I changed it. Each side now has its own texture.
