No. Nowhere.

Now, to answer a question you didn't ask, "when will we see a wide version?" I'm thinking a few weeks.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah, the release of the widescreen Marine Aquarium has been "imminent" since October... 2002.

Does anyone know why it has taken so long to make a widescreen 2.0?

My guess is that it's just not at the top of the priority list.

It may be a small market, but I think it's responsible for a lot of word-of-mouth sales.

HD

1. Q: Does anyone know why it has taken so long to make a widescreen 2.0?
A: A couple of things. The first being that we are trying to build a single package which we will call HD (High Definition) which will include the multi-monitor and widescreen versions.

This way 99% of people can download a small version, and the people that have the special needs can get the special version.

Here is an overview of the issues (not necessarily the features, but just the issues):

Multi-monitor:
1. Friendly: Meaning, simply making the product so that when it runs, the other monitors go black.
2. Mirrored: What you see on one monitor you can ask to be on one or more other monitors.
3. Spread: One background across at least two monitors.
4. Virtual: Different backgrounds, or areas of the tank, and allowing the fish to move from monitor to monitor. This is a little different than spread, in that monitors of different sizes, and physical locations can appear to be part of one big background.

Wide Screen:
a. Two Art Sets: High-res BG of the art. So much bigger download.
b. Letterbox mode: Using the high-res art, but on a normal monitor. So black on top and bottom. We get a lot requests for this.
c. Multi-monitor: Making sure this works on 1 or more of the multi-monitors.

We have most of all of this working now.
