Big Grin Nothing yet

Last time i hear something.... They were supposed to fix the light bug (fixed already).

But it's been almost 6 months!!!!!!! and nothing new.

Did Lifeglobe forget about their customers?

Please Jim... give us a new Sharks release...

I really dont know just how small this company is... They arent capable of improving their software?

Maybe we should study a little programing and develop our own Sharks-theme based screensaver.

We could use:

1.- Sharks: Terrors of the Deep.... Ambient and "Slow" paced sharks
2.- Sharkvisions..... Sharks models
3.- 3D Relax Scrrensaver.... "Fish Eating Sharks and Camera Hit boxes"

.... Just a dream...

Hope any reply very soon

If by "Jim" you mean me, then I have nothing to do with Lifeglobe (except for allowing Prolific to use my code to get the Sharks and Goldish projects started).

Prolific has several people working on Lifeglobe products.

SereneScreen is just one person - me.

Frank-N-Stein:

This is Jim... not the one with Artistic Talent but the guy that works for Prolific. I am not sure if you guys/gals got wind of something in the queue, or if it is just "dumb luck", but Sharks 2 is just set to begin beta testing with our test group later tonight or tomorrow morning. Our LifeGlobe fans are going to have a fun summer.

Q. I really dont know just how small this company is... They arent capable of improving their software?

A. Prolific is a very diverse team of extremely talented programmers and artists. A visit to our website www.Prolific.com will show you just how capable we are.

A. I am not exactly sure what you are asking for here.

Just a general question. When you put a product into beta testing does it mean a totally revamped program over Sharks 1.0 or is it just minor tweaks and improvements here and their.

Sharks 2.0 features the same sharks as in 1.0, with the addition of a manta ray. Additionally, it features two new tanks, several preconfigured tanks, and some other fun changes.

Is the Manta Ray cool enough to be akin to the introduction of the Lionfish in MA?

A. There are 1000's of different sharks available for us to model, however, we would need to have one that is distinct in appearance and over 2 Meters long. The Whale shark is being considered, but it would have to remain at a distance from the viewer due to it's large size. Other Ideas?

Sunfish? Not exactly a shark, but really, really neat.

Not the small kind BTW...

Edit: Basking Shark? Not quite Whale Shark size...

Nope this is our Manta Ray. The Manta Ray was often requested by our Fans of SA 1.0 and added to the product becuase it was visually a nice animal, improved the product and part of the "cartilage" fish family commonly known as Sharks and Rays.

I always include the ray where it is allowed and I love the scene with just them, it was a great addition.

4 out of 5 looks good Thank you for giving us a sample. I know how you don't like to show to much to soon until the product is satisfactory for the people involved. How about a sample from GA 2.0? PLEASE! Show ANYTHING! from GA 2.0. Oh yeah any info on the price of the upgrades?

JimR,
I suggested the thresher shark for 1.0. It has a distinct look with that tail and can reach lengths of ~20 feet/6 metres which exceed your size requirements (even without the tail which can be 50% of total body length).

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.
