Marine Aquarium File formats?

I was using ResHacker on MarineAquarium2.scr and saw all the DirectX 3D models under RCData. I went to read one of the .x files (BKGRND.X), but it doesn't seem to be in normal .x file format. Is it compressed? And with what? I was going to play around and see if I could change some of the fish, but I could not figure out the compression.

Sorry, but we do not support or answer questions pertaining to hacking or altering the aquarium on this forum.

I don't mean altering or hacking the aquarium, I just wanted to extract the fish to play around with them in a 3D Modeler. Maybe make a scene as a personal wallpaper...
