CPU Usage and FPS
If I set the FPS to 30fps I get about 30fps, however if I set FPS to 60fps, I still get about 30fps.
With only Marine Aquarium in a window 720 x 540 and the ProcessViewer running behind the Aquarium I can see the amount of CPU Usage. With both settings of 30fps and 60fps the CPU usage is about 65-76%. When I set the FPS to Maximum then I get about 41-45fps and a CPU of 100% I was just wondering why I don't get a higher fps at the setting of 60fps. I have a BW G3 400mHz with ATI Radeon 7000 video card, MacOSX 10.1.5 and Marine Aquarium v1.1.0 |

When you set the fps to Max we ask the OS to give us the CPU at EVERY opportunity, hence the 100% CPU utilitization. With anything less than Max the OS X scheduler has more flexibility.
