Unhappy Ripping off Aquarium?

I don't know if this is some unreleased build or a plagerised version:

The file was last modified back in August, so it is older than the latest version, notice how they have changed the background and removed Jims Logo from the bottom left! It even uses the same config files!

Unfortunatly the archive I downloaded did not contain a link to the "authors" homepage!

I have deleted the file now and will be sticking to the version that came with PlusXP until I get my next student loan cheque in January.

Keep up the great work Jim!

This was sent to me about 6 months ago by a programmer who wanted to demonstrate his ability to hack and change the bitmaps in the Aquarium.

I've seen this too. It won't run without a valid Aquarium serial number. You can't even type TESTFISH.

I guess people want to add ugly fish instead of waiting for Jim to add good ones. They should have at least given Jim credit.

I haven't purchased a key yet, but all the fish showed up.
But, as long as I know its not official it can sit in my emptied recycle bin

Unfortunately there are some people in the world who don't have the artistic skills, the foresight, or the programming knowledge that Jim has, to start something on their own and bring it to the level that he has. They seem to think that usurping others work is no big deal, and somehow shows some kind of talent. Kudo's to you Electronic, for putting such things where they belong.
