Nice to hear about progress. VERY NICE.
"It was his word before that told people that the upgrade would be free." That's what I remember too. It seems that when the beta was still for sale by Jim only that the future 3d background was going to be part of the package, but I could be remembering it wrong.

2.5 is simply all the available versions on one CD (Regular, Widescreen, Time, Logo). It is done now. I'm not sure yet how the downloadable version will be handled.
