I haven't heard as much complaining from my roommate about a Windows program as I have about iTunes.

It's sad that he's having to use THREE Helper programs to make iTunes do what it should do out-of-the-box.

Certainly your roommate has a passion for music or they'd use something else besides iTunes/iPod. More noteworthy is that this person is not having problems with iTunes discovering the iPod.

I'm really hoping to get Jim some relief. He needs to focus on MA3 and presumably likes to listen to music while working - to improve his productuvity. At least that is what I tell my wife!

..thanks for telling all of us iTunes is stable on your Mac though - That really helped.
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

Don't overlook the other helpful information that I provided, which in total could be very helpful to someone trained to use this kind of information. That would be someone who's familiar with, or has taken, a Kepner-Tregoe problem solving methodology course. I've taken this course and highly recommend it, especially for those who might take an Easter-egging approach to problem resolution.

So far everything has worked fine. Morgan and I found a few places in the coral that need some adjustment so far, but overall the program is running fine and nothing has crashed or caused problems.

Yes, any topic other than the one we're on would be nice.

We don't get to test the Alpha. I wish we did. That would be cool.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

From my time in this industry, I find that alpha releases are generally feature incomplete and unstable. Alpha testers are big kahunas and are prepared to put in lots of time to deal with usability and instability issues to aid the development process.

In the beta phase all features are in place and the product is relatively stable, but there are bugs. Beta testers are obligated to spend time to find these bugs, which can be a labor of love, and especially satisfying when an obscure or unexpected bug is uncovered.

Based on my understanding, I am not surprised that Jim limits the scope of MA3 alpha testing.

Morgan and Michael are the only ones to see any Alpha tests so far. When it's a little more complete, I'll notify the Beta team. Should be a few more days.
