Monitor not going into energy saving Mode-any news?

I posted awhile back that still with the new version 1.1 my monitor will not go into energy saving mode. Jim had said he had heard of a few people still having this problem and would look into it but I haven't seen any new post on the subject.
Has anyone found a solution? I would love to use this screensaver all the time.

We're in the process of bringing the Aquarium into DX7, and hope that this might help with the monitor-sleep problem.
