Hi there, and welcome to the forum!
If you could just give us a bit more detailed description of your problem, I'm sure we'll solve it.

Answers to the following questions could help:

You say you want to buy. – Therefore I'm assuming you're using the demo version (one fish), is this correct?

How do you mean "has finished"? Is the sound still on after the screensaver is turned off?

Are you using Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000 or XP?

yeah, we need to know more about your problem to help you. is like you going to the doctor and telling him "I'm sick. heal me", but don't let the doctor touch you or even see you.

Knowing the specs of your system is like letting the doctor do those things, and then, when we know what's going on, we can advise you what to do... otherwise is impossible

It sounds like the program is only minimized and not closed. You may have something running in the background like an email or virus program that is causing this to happen. Check to see what other programs are also running that could be interfering.

If there are two versions of the Aquarium on the computer, like v.99L (Fish.scr) and v1.1 (Aquarium.scr), then it's possible to start one manually and have the other come up automatically as a screensaver. Hitting ESC would kill the one that's on the screen while leaving the other running.

Thats probably it, I used Norton for quite some time now. I turned off most of the automatic scanning options and set them to manual and did them myself. I always let the system run a complete scan once a week in the middle of the night, and the next morning the SS was aways minimized, but with the sound still there, a click on the task bar always brought it right back up.

Jeez. I think I'm going to have to add a "If you make fun of Jim, you die." rule to the forum.

I've never seen a forum that makes fun of people like this. And I don't care if it's "in good fun". You just plain don't make comments like that.

If you will all take note, Jim happens to be the only dude here that has used himself as his avitar. (So far as I have seen.) I think Feldon should make a rule that anyone that critisizes Jim should have to use their own face as an avitar.

Personally, I wish everyone would use their picture as an avatar. I always like to see who I'm talking to. The one thing I hate about the Internet is that it's so anonymous.
