Trouble dl'ing screensavers

in a nutshell, love the acquarium, want to buy, but apprehensive re successul install. Lately, can't get ANY SS to load into Screen Effects - usd to work finee so must have buggered sumpin!! Under LIB/SCREENSAVERS, the latter folder is empty. Only the original Apple effects/savers work, i.e., beach, forest etc
17-n wide lcd flat panel G4, OS 10,2,8, 1 gig SDRAM, 133 bus, 1 gig mhz, 80 gig hd, DVD-R, NVIDIA’s GeForce FX 5200 Ultra graphics processor with 64MB of DDR video memory.

Any idea what I might have done and/or can do to be able to get this super marine aq. bought and WORKING?

There are two locations screen savers can go:

/Library/Screen Savers/
Those are available for all users
~/Library/Screen Savers/
These will be available only to this particular user
(~ = /Users/Your_username i.e. "Home")

Just drop the Marine Aquarium.saver part in either location, and you should see it in the preference pane.

Which version of the screen saver do you have?

Hi Moe.

You can download, install and TEST without buying.

/Librariy/Screen Savers/ has nothing in it on my 10.2.8 volume except for the screen effects I've loaded, so not having anything in there is not an issue. There must be something else wrong with your system. Perhaps an ownership or permissions problem on your Screen Savers folder?

ok, guys, thanks for your input - have dl'ed version 2.x and it just knocks everyone out when they see it!! I'm a bitt obsessivev about screensavers in general - have several of great art such as Van Gogh, Impressionists, Modern - each with 50 to 90 beautiful works.

But the MA is my fave.
