Yeah, that one shows up on some cards at some resolutions with some AA settings.

Mith - could you check if the seam is still there in Beta7b?

I still have it in 7b Jim... sorry for the delay, I forgot where I had seen you ask. I posted the same in another thread somewhere... but it's still there.

I have the 8800 Gforce series card driver 7.15.11.6906

Yes, I saw the picture you posted. Very disappointing that the seam is still there.

It appears to be exactly on the wire frame when you switch between the regular and wired frame mode. Not sure if that helps...

No, I know what is causing it. It's exactly what it appears to be on your machine - a seam. Some computers using some settings of resolution/antialiasing see the end of a texture and try to antialias it with the nonexistant pixels which follow the end of the texture. There's no seam on any of my machines, so all I can try are shots-in-the-dark.

Jim, it's certainly a lot better in 7b than 7a... here are my settings with Nvidia 8800 GTS driver version 7.15.11.6906

As long as antialising is an option, people are going to use it, so I need to figure out some way of tricking it.

I just posted in the other thread about the left side problem, that the seam problem is gone. I don't know what happened or what changed... other than my playing with the antialiasing settings. Even when I put it back to it's original settings, the seams gone now... go figger...

I can change my settings Jim... LOL... I do it regularily when I play my games. Where's the link to the new beta and I'll install it, then test it fer ya!

Also, I figured out why I couldn't see that seam in the rock... it's because I turned down the color of the background... sigh... it's still there... but the left side issue is fixed as I described in that thread.
