Hello...I too have noticed the jagginess in 10.2, especially when compared to the OS 9 version.

Hopefully you guys can address the issue...keep up the great work!

The Freshwater Aquarium.

'Fraid I can't help with the Mac jaggies, anyway -- I have no idea how the Mac works.

WOW! I think you just admitted that the Freshwater aquarium is done and all that's left is to port it over to the Mac. That must mean that you are hard at work on the Goby and the 3-D coral!!! Then Jim can fix the Jaggies while he is porting them and the world will be wonderful again! I am getting Aquarium Fever again, this time both Fresh AND Salt!!! I can't wait!

I am getting even more excited as I realize you may now be working on the Creature package and maybe even the additional features and behaviours!!! I can hardly contain myself! Tell how it's going!!!

mrtew,

Tune to the Aquarium forum (not the Mac forum) for more information about the progress of the Freshwater Aquarium.

I wonder if turning off mip-mapping would fix the jaggies problem. It looks like OpenGL is choosing the wrong mip-map for the size based on the pictures posted here. Anyone want to drop off an e-mail address at the Order N feedback site so we can test? It that is it then I'll have something specific to complain to Apple about.

Until I can characterize it precisely it isn't a big concern for them.
