hmmm.....doesn't feel much difference since I'm using 56K modem....anyway...still nice to hear the new changes to other, I'll experinence it once I upgrade to ADSL
DrFish's suggestion is good....keep the text bright while the background dark, better for eyes and LCD monitor. :P

I like the green. I suppose I'll be using the default until the green comes along... if at all.

M&M, I know there is a "Spell Check" option for posts in VB2 because I have seen it on other forums. Couldn't you guys make it available to us?

I never noticed till today that since you moved my bookmarked URL has been wrong. Going to http://205.214.94.120/forums/ instead of the "new" http://69.93.205.106/forums/ I end up at the same place of course but via a referral (?).
Perhaps others need to change their bookmark as well? Or... I may have interpeted the whole process wrong. Ralph Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889 – 1951) The limits of my language are the limits of my mind. All I know is what I have words for. |

Everything should be over with now and marking feldoncentral again should be fine.

The bookmark should be https://www.feldoncentral.com/forums/
For 48-72 hours after we move from one site to another, the NEW site shows up as numbers. Hopefully this is our last move for a few years! *fingers crossed*

I know moving is such a hassle, packing all the boxes and dragging them to the new location, then having to unpack and put away. Boy I'm tired just thinking about it! If I hadn’t just got up, I would go take a nap!

A very minor point Morgan, - I think the wrong .gif (on.gif) is showing for 'New posts' on the opening page?

I recall a long time ago there was a discussion about what people saw in their URL listing. Numbers or names..... Is there a prefered format?
I can get to the forums now by.... http://205.214.94.120/forums/ http://69.93.205.106/forums/ https://www.feldoncentral.com/forums/ and there may well be others |

Ok, I guess it's not just me. I will look at fixing this.
I'm always able to get to the website with http://feldoncentral.com/ but not always able to get here with https://www.feldoncentral.com/ I will make sure I have a functioning www alias working (First I gotta figure out how).

I've got a bug showing up recently.
When I first come to this page: http://feldoncentral.com/forums/index.php?s= Where it says "Welcome back, patscarr," recently, within the last two days, it has always been showing 0 new posts in 0 topics since your last visit! But when I click the "View New Posts" link it takes me to all the new posts, which are more than 0. ???

Patrick,
That sounds like your computer is simply retrieving a recent copy of that page from the cache in its memory. - Just click the refresh button on your browser and everything will be ok! ..... I don't think it's a bug! If you look at the first line, ie, - 'The time now is .....' - it will confirm this. |
