First, I would put it on the floor in front of her and taught her not to eat it untill I said "Okay!" That took a few tries, maybe a month or so, but once she got it, the transfer to her nose was pretty easy, only taking another few attempts.

We got a new cat a couple days ago (whom we still don’t have a name for), and she discovered the screensaver today and went nuts. Luckily I had my camera near by. Now I can’t get her to stop stepping on my keyboard as she wonders where the fish went.

LB,
That's a wicked picture! Methinks Prolific would want to feature that one on their site. /Tiny Touchdown P.S. I fed it to Photoshop and Pumpkin came out like this: |

I was thinking of the name Pumpkin, but a friend of mine already has that name for his orange cat. We’re temporarily calling her Marble for now, but I don’t know if that’ll stick. Prolific would be more then welcome to use the image. I showed her the goldfish and shark screensavers too, and she equally likes them all.

Ginger? Peachy? I tend to use names, though, not related to the cat's color. I had an orange tabby named Freya, a GreyandWhite named Doobie (because the Doobie Bros. were playing when I got him), and another orange named Spliff (I had moved on to loving Reggae music by then).

That's a great picture, LostBoy. I'm glad you had your camera at the ready to get it. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for the comments and name suggestions. It's been a couple days and we still don't have a name yet, but I think we've narrowed it down to:
Buttercup Ginger Marble Marigold Peaches Punkin Sunny SunShine Tiger |

As long as we are looking for tiger names, it could be Hobbs.
