A quick fix to get your starfish back.

Run the REGISTRY CLEANER found elsewhere on this site (Morgan?)

I discovered a few little things about the Starfish and the registry.

WARNING: Don't play around with the settings unless you know what you are doing! Changing the registry happens in REAL TIME. when you make a change it is saved as you type it! You can't undo it, unless you remember what was in there to begin with. Leave that for the profesionals, like Jim, Feldon, and Jav!

Editing different bytes have different effects. You can get the starfish to the exact center of the screen (on the glass or not).

You can get it off screen completly. As some others are now discovering.

Or you might make the starfish look like a road kill.

Sorry to be playing with those controls Jim, but if there's something to tweak... I'll be a tweakin'!

I use WinXP too. I noticed the same phenomenon when the starfish is not allowed on glass. It's pretty cool actually . It's good because there is no conventional way to get rid of the starfish
