Beta 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close
I am experiencing problems when launching the 8e beta, more particularly when starting the screensaver from the properties and when typing testfish...
I am now experiencing multiple crashes with the aquarium, as opposed to none in the previous beta. Great work though, I cannot wait for the rest of the background to start 'living'! |

It might me choking on some data left by a previous version. Try deleting the Registry entry for MA3.
The Registry key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/serenescreen/MarineAquarium3

I had 8e freeze on me when adding music to the playlist , but deleting the registry key cleared it up no problem . I have XP Home . This is actually the first 'problem' I've had with the betas , and after what I've read here about Vista I wouldn't touch it with a really long stick .
Edit: I'm getting the not being able to switch the logos bug too . Forgot about that because I don't usually use the crystal - until it gets the clock on it that is ... I will go post that in the proper spot . Last edited by Nicki; 01-21-2009 at 12:29 PM. |

I deleted the MA3 key, and reinstalled. That worked, until I changed the fish settings. Again the same error.
I then deleted the MA2 key also, now it seems to be working! |
