MA3 download issue

Hi
I have tried to download the beta several times but just get a notepad file with data strings, can anyone tell me where the main download link is and why I am having troubles.

You can always go where I have the Beta's stored and get the latest version from there.

This is likely because somehow your computer has been set to open up screensavers with notepad . Programs like system mechanic do this to prevent malicious ( definitely not this one ) screensavers from exploiting security flaws in windows . For now you can work around it by renaming the program replacing .scr with .exe , or if you are a more advanced user , you can go here - http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm , and download the SCR file association fix . Unzip it , and import the file to your registry . As always the registry should be backed up first .

OR.. you possibly have AutoCad on your system which assumes a file with SCR as an extension is a "script" file.. A long standing issue on this forum.. there is a registry script that will fix the problem... the easy fix is to rename the screen saver with an "EXE" extension.
