update on freeze problem
I am the original creator of this thread. I just wanted to let everybody know that the upgrade to 10.3.6 fixed the problems I had with Marine Aquarium Time. So, it seems that it was a problem within Mac OS.

I also posted with the problem some months ago and actually stopped using the screen saver because I couldn't track down the cause.Although after trying various things I came to suspect that the drivers for my Apple ATI Radeon 9600 XT were the source of the freezes so I was quite hopeful when I saw that 10.3.6 included updated ones. I upgraded to 10.3.6 as soon as it was released, and am now using the screen saver again and so far have had no problems. Not wishing to "tempt fate" I was going to wait a while longer before deciding that the problem was fixed but as "Unregistered" has now posted I thought I would add my bit as well.
