Hello,
I have recently found this beautiful screen saver ![]() ![]() Preventing that the screen goes into suspend is the only work around (either from the screen saver properties, or from power options), but I would like to allow the screen to suspend. Any help will be appreciated ![]() Microsoft Windows Me (with all Windows Updates) CreativeLabs GeForce 3 Ti200 (Not O/C) Dets 29.80 (WHQL) CreativeLabs SoundBlaster Live! I have this problem only when Aquarium is used as screen saver
![]() ![]() There is a new set of drivers for nVidia (30.30) but I'll wait for the official release, the 29.80 are fast and very stable for my system (apart for this problem with Aquarium). |

I guess my problem is, I usually just turn off the monitor when I step away from the computer for more than 10 minutes so have never had the desire to risk standby on the PC or the monitor.
Standby really only works smoothly on laptops in my experience.

Originally posted by feldon23 I does work flawless on my computer, and I use the suspend option often (when I don't need the computer for more than 1 hour, this is better than a complete shut down). Nevertheless it hasn't worked always, only after the updates that I did three or four months ago (I keep all the drivers as updated as possible).Standby really only works smoothly on laptops in my experience. However I believe that I don't have this problem with my nootebook ![]() |
