Video card problem
Hi !
i'm under win xp pro and my video card is voodoo 5500 : i know it's been discussed for a long time but i have white background and whites fishes : i changed video drivers but it doesn' work ![]() so : 1) did someone succeed running MA2 with voodoo 5500 under xp ? 2) if no what would be the best choice : GeForce 4 Mx 400 64 Mb SDR or ATI Radeon 7500 64Mb DDR ? i'm on a Athlon Xp 1800 and 512 Mb Ram DDR 2700 Thanks for your answers and sorry for my bad english ( i'm french) |

Thats one of those personal opinion questions that you will probably get 23 different answers for. I prefer the GeForce line of cards. ATI has historically had alot of problems caused by their drivers, they are getting somewhat better. Just not enough better yet IMO, to be worth calling them equal to nVidia. So, I would go for an nVidia card, and maybe something stronger than the MX series with what you are running. I haven't checked the current prices in awhile, that would depend on if you are a gamer and how much performance you want to pay for.
