Why did I restore a previous image? ...
I wanted to go back to a known working system from a few days ago. - This problem only occurred for the first time, today!
I use Acronis True Image 9 to make regular Image 'backups'. - I find that restoring an image is often the quickest way to solve some types of problems. And the resulting quick defragged drive is a useful bonus!
After DA has failed, I can still run MA3Beta7, but a cold re-boot of the system is required before I can run DA 1.186 again.
