It all seems very unnecessary to me.
Jim hasn't turned in a new version of the Aquarium since last year. Any variations in the filesize would be due to the SCR file being rebuilt at Prolific on a different system than originally built it.
But 10d is 10d. There are no graphical or feature differences between the files you've linked.
