Something isn't right.

You need to find out what is running in the background.

Of course, you also need to make sure your 4 in 1 drivers are installed and up to date.




This may or may not be way off base, but for all the people running fast Athlons on Fast KT266 or KT3 boards, how much power supply do you have? What are the reported CPU and Motherboard temperatures? Do your GF4's have fanes on them or just metal heatsinks?

If you upgraded, did you carry over the case and fans?

Or even better, if these are new systems, have you verified that they have enough cooling? Many manufacturers "overlook" decent cooling, especially with fast Athlon systems.
