Well, Upx cuts down the size of the executable quite nicely. Has no overhead and decompression is virtually instant. It's also free.
Hopefully when you have time you can fix those fish, as just having the feature off isn't much of a solution. I prefer it on because it makes the fish movement and shading more realistic.
