Well guys, I'm what you call an original tech geek. My dad was an auto mechanic, and had tons of fun electronic stuff to play with. I gained a high interest in eletronics, and my brother became an auto mechanic wiz!

Yes, there is a 512 MB limit for Win9x and WinME

BUT... I don't think it will cause the system to run slower. The problem will most likely be just getting the machine to boot, and recognize that much memory.
And if I'm not mistaken, Win 2000 has a 2 GB limit, not 4. But I could be wrong...
