As I've mentioned before, Jim talks about copyright concerns and getting sued. I certainly understand in this litigous society. But id Software accepts tons of user-produced worlds and creatures and includes them and sells them. They seem to have the legal situation sorted out quite nicely. Maybe it would be a good model to follow.
