The coral is going to be one-sided for 2 reasons:
First, the photographic technique used to "paint" the coral only works at a limited viewing angle.
Second, the market for the Aquarium is computers as much as 5 years old with good but not extraordinary video cards. It's not a compromise, it's just a wise decision to make the Aquarium look good but also run on as many computers as is possible.
