Marian, - There are others here with far more experience of dual monitors than me, so for starters I'll just say that you require either two video cards, or one card with two outputs.

- I have a GeForce FX 5200 Ultra with a VGA analog connection for the Sony CRT, and a DVI digital connection for the ViewSonic LCD.
The nVidia 61.77 drivers provide all the necessary settings! ..... And Bob's your uncle!
